The Tribal Homestay Initiative
Arvind Limited launched the Tribal Homestay Project—an initiative that reimagines tourism as a platform for inclusion, not displacement. By converting homes into guest accommodations near the Statue of Unity, the program connects tribal families to the region’s growing tourism economy while preserving their cultural identity. With infrastructure support, entrepreneurship training, and sustained handholding, families are not just participants, but co-owners of their growth journey.

Stories of Success
After her husband’s passing, Toralben Tadvi had two young daughters and little income. With our team’s guidance, she transformed part of her home near Kevadia into a homestay — welcoming travellers, preparing local meals, and finding her footing again.
Her income has grown from ₹10,000 to ₹30,000 per month, but her true gain is confidence and independence.
“Staying at Toralben’s homestay was a heart-warming experience. The natural surroundings, cultural connection, and her warmth made us feel at home.” — Guest Review
For Rajeshbhai’s family, farming once meant unpredictable earnings. Together, we helped them convert two rooms into guest accommodations. His wife manages meals, and their children now guide visitors — turning the household into a thriving family enterprise.
Their monthly income now averages ₹35,000–₹40,000, bringing stability and pride.
“Our village is now known for its hospitality. Tourism gave us income — and identity.”
